some random things about me?

My mom is my best friend. She’s knows literally everything about me. Guy stuff, friend stuff, you name it.

I often stay in on the weekends to hang out with my boyfriend and family and do nothing, really. I love it.

Not on purpose, but I like making my own vocab- bellyhavu, my bakska, chapputys, dirty ball, and other jibberish.

I freaking love to cuddle with my manu, make me feels so tiny.

When I was in kindergarten, I got in trouble for selling drawings at recess for a penny.

I like to shoot guns, and have a pretty good shot.

I had to get braces when I was 9 because my teeth were so bad. mean kids at school called me carrot sticks?

Nothing gives me more of a rush than washing my face with cold water.

My brother and I still act like we’re 5 when we’re together.

My close friends think I’m weird…but in a good way.

I like to save money and spend it all on traveling usually out of the country. It’s an expensive addiction

One time I did a wine bong…Really bad idea.

I really like rain and thunder.

I cut jewelry and interesting patterns out of magazines, organize them, and make collages.

My favorite thing in the world is to chill in late night coffee shops. Sometimes even alone. No wonder I ended up with a coffee boy lol!

Enjoy deep conversations about anything.

I count how many paces it takes in between sections of the sidewalk.

I can’t sleep if my feet are cold.

I believe in God, but not sure what I believe, if that makes sense.

I wonder how things are made. I get this weird zoned out look on my face.

I’m really gullible, sometimes easily confused and clumsy.

I cuddle with my black lab Maggy. She knows me as mama.

I want to be an art teacher, took me a while to figure this out. Then eventually an art therapist, we'll see.

I often analyze things to the point that I confuse myself.

children's books

The other day a box of children's books were donated at work for the kids waiting room in the clinic. After rummaging through a few for a little boy I babysit, I remembered how much I love children's books, just their simplicity, vibrant colors and illustrations. Whether they're teaching a word or a lesson or some sort of moral, they just really capture a really cool reality that most adults forget about. Hey, maybe I'll make an adult children's book about how to be a kid? I dabbled with the idea before, but I think I might attempt to write one....hmm, need characters. Something that hasn't been done yet.
